Election Schedule for the term 2022-2024

ALL MEMBERS

As per decision of Executive Committee Meeting held on 08 July, 2022 following schedule has been approved for Election of Members of Managing Committee.

VOTING RIGHT

Those members who have completed at least Two years of their valid membership of PADFA as on the date of announcement of Election Schedule and renewed their membership by 31 March 2022 will be entitled to cast vote.

The following election schedule approved by the Executive Committee of Pakistan Agriculture & Dairy Farmers Association (PADFA) in its Meeting held on Wednesday July 08, 2021 at 09:00 AM in PADFA head office, Faisalabad, is hereby announced for election of Executive Committee Members of Pakistan Agriculture & Dairy Farmers Association (PADFA) for the term 2022-2023 (1st October, 2022 to 30th September, 2023):

Friday 1^st July, 2022	Notice for holding executive committee meeting to be held on 8^th July, 2022.
Friday 8th July, 2022	Holding of executive committee meeting for approval of election schedule.
Monday 11th July, 2022	Announcement of election schedule & appointment of election commission for display/submit as follows:a) a) at the notice board at head office & regional office of the association;b) b) at the website of the association ; and c) c) submitted to the Regulator.
Wednesday 13rd July, 2022	Last date for intimation by members/firms desiring to change their representative i.e. name of representative to the Secretary General along with necessary proof of eligibility.
Saturday 16th July, 2022	Last date for display of provisional list of voters eligible to vote along with their national tax number, sales tax registration number, if applicable, the name and national identity card number of their representative) on:a) Notice Board at head office & regional office of the associationb) Website of the association.
Wednesday 20th July, 2022	Last date for receipt of any objection by the members to the entries in the list of voters. (Members shall send their objections in writing to the Secretary General).
Monday 25th July, 2022	Last date by which the Secretary General will intimate action on the objections or changes sent by member.
Saturday 30^th July, 2022	Last date for making representation to the election commission by the members aggrieved by the decision of Secretary General.
Thursday 04^th August, 2022	Last date the commission will decide the representation.
Monday 8th August, 2022	Last date for making appeal to the regulator by the members aggrieved by the decision of election commission.
Friday 12th August, 2022	Last date for displaying final list of voters:a) at the notice board at head office of the association;b) at the website of association ; and c) submitted to the Regulator.
Tuesday 16th August, 2022	Last date for submission of nomination paper from the consenting members (duly proposed and seconded by a duly registered voter and signed by the candidate to the Secretary General).
Thursday 18th August, 2021	A copy of the final list of voters shall be provided to each contesting candidate.The nomination papers by scrutinized the election commission and list of candidates shall be displayed.
Saturday20st August, 2022	Last date for receipt of objections, if any, to the nomination of candidates.
Wednesdy24^th August, 2022	Last date by which election commission will finalize objection.
Monday29^th August, 2022	Last date for filing of appeal with the Regulator by the member aggrieved by the decision of election commission.
Saturday^3th September 2022	Last date for receipt of decision of the Regulator.
Monday7^th September, 2022	Last date for issuance of final list of candidates.
Friday9^th September, 2022	Holding of election of members of executive committee, finalization and announcement of provisional result and draw to determine the members who will retire after one year.
Monday12^th September, 2022	Last date for submission of nomination papers from newly elected executive committee members for election as an office bearer (duly proposed and seconded by an elected executive committee member and signed by the candidates to the election commission.
Thursday 15th September, 2022	Scrutiny of nomination papers for election of office bearers by the election commission after that list of candidates shall be displayed.
Monday 19^th September, 2022	Holding of Election of office Bearers.
Wednesday28^th September, 2022	Holding of AGM for the following: a) Announcement of final result of election of members of executive committee and office bearers; b) Approval of annual audited accounts; Appointment of Auditors for next financial year 2021-2022.
Friday^30st September 2022	Final Election announced in the AGM shall bea. Displayed at the notice board of head office & regional office of the associationb. on website of association
Saturday 1^st October 2022	Last date for submission of election results to Regulator.
